Brooklyn Free Space is an independent preschool and UPK provider in Park Slope Brooklyn. Their space needs upgrading but they don't have the budget. They needed help thinking through COVID measures as well as with long term planning.

Design Approach
The D/A team specified plastic screens in the “Big Room,” renovations to a rear hallway as additional access point, repurposing of a narrow front yard space for outdoor classroom use, and provided longer term planning options for future growth and security.
